One Bangkok, the largest holistically integrated district in the heart of Bangkok, developed by TCC Assets (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Frasers Property Holdings (Thailand) Co., Ltd. with new standards of technological excellence and environmental sustainability, proudly unveils its vision to be people-centric, focusing on the sustainable well-being of people. This vision is highlighted at the Sustainability Expo 2024, the largest sustainability exposition in ASEAN, under the inspiring theme “Sufficiency for Sustainability,” from September 27 to October 6, 2024, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.


Embark on a journey to “The Heart of Bangkok”, a district created to hold a place in people’s hearts. One Bangkok is transforming urban living by developing green spaces to increase Bangkok’s greenery. This initiative aims to offer new living experiences inspired by art and culture, while enhancing the quality of life and promoting sustainable urban development. One Bangkok will also host two special discussion sessions on the topics of “Pathways to a Sustainable Urban Future” and “Time to CHANGE: Shaping Bangkok’s Future”.


Mr. Worawat Srisa-an, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of One Bangkok, said, “We are proud to be part of the Sustainability Expo 2024, marking our fifth consecutive year supporting this important event. Global warming is a pressing issue that affects everyone, and we are committed to setting new standards for developing a green smart city for the future. One Bangkok is equipped with innovative and intelligent technologies to ensure the well-being of all in every aspect. Recently, it became the first project in Thailand to achieve LEED Platinum certification for Neighbourhood Development, WiredScore, and SmartScore. We are also aiming for WELL Building Standard certification to further enhance the quality of life, comfort, and safety for our residents and occupants.”


At the event, visitors can immerse themselves in the One Bangkok Experiential Pavilion featuring a stunning 360-degree Projection Mapping Theatre that brings the concept of “Better Quality of Life in One Bangkok” to life. This pavilion visualises how One Bangkok enhances the overall quality of life through various elements within the project, covering three dimensions:

  • Physical Vitality: Providing facilities that promote good health for everyone, such as walkways that allow for a comfortable 15-minute walk through the project and a continuous walking distance of 5 kilometres, with 2.6 kilometres shaded by trees. Buildings are designed to maximise natural light with automatic lighting adjustment systems, high-efficiency air filtration and sanitisation systems for clean and fresh air, as well as acoustic control systems to mitigate external noise.
  • Mental & Social Rejuvenation: Enhancing social and mental well-being with green spaces and open public areas throughout the project, totalling over 50 rai (about 20 acres), such as One Bangkok Park, Parade Park, and Wireless Park. These areas are conducive to creating various social and community recreational activities. Additionally, the Art Loop that brings together comprehensive art and cultural works and programmes stretching over 2 kilometres across the district across the district serving as learning spaces and creative venues and integrating art into everyday life.
  • Safe & Secure Environment: Ensuring the comfort and safety of users and residents within the project 24/7 with the District Command Center that manages various systems and utilises over 250,000 smart sensors to provide maximum confidence and safety. The project also follows universal design standards, including wheelchair-accessible areas, tactile paving for the visually impaired, and easy-to-understand signage and a wayfinding system throughout the project.


One Bangkok also organises two special discussion sessions:

  • "Pathways to a Sustainable Urban Future" featuring speakers including Dr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok, Opart Karnkawinpong, MD, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Public Health, Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi, Group Chief Executive Officer of Frasers Property Limited and Khemupsorn Sirisukha, Actress & Environmental Activist, moderated by Elizabeth Sadler on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at SX Grand Plenary Hall, G Floor.
  • “Time to CHANGE: Shaping Bangkok’s Future” with speakers including Worawat Srisa-an, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of One Bangkok, Supparat Sivapetchranat Singhara Na Ayutthaya, CEO of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (Thailand), and Associate Professor Dr. Niramon Serisakul, Director of The Urban Design and Development Center, Center of Excellence in Urban Strategies, Chulalongkorn University (UddC-CEUS), moderated by Dr. Prompt Udomdech (PhD), Head of the Department of Architectural and Design Intelligence at KMITL on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at SX Talk Stage, Exhibition Hall, G Floor.
